澳大利亚一大型养猪场起火损失惨重

    食品伙伴网讯     据外媒报道，17日澳大利亚新南威尔士州一家大型养猪场发生火灾，损失惨重。2000多头猪被烧死，大火也烧毁了猪舍和饲料输送管道。

    一名工人冒着生命危险，撬开一间猪舍的门，另外的1500头猪才免遭厄运。

    据报道，起火的旺加养猪场（Wonga Piggery）位于新南威尔士州扬恩（Young）附近，电器故障导致了这场火灾，乡村消防队用了一个多小时才控制住火势。

    澳大利亚猪肉协会的代表麦金托甚（Emily Mackintosh）说，这场大火对养猪场是一次灾难。猪场养了约6000头猪，大火烧死了其中的三分之一。

    A farmhand has risked his own life to free thousands of pigs caught in a blaze that destroyed a piggery shed in southwest NSW.

    More than 2000 pigs were killed in the early morning fire at Wonga Piggery near Young on Wednesday.

    The alarm was raised by a male worker who managed to save 1500 pigs by - against the heat - prying open a door of the shed.

    The blaze, believed to have started from an electrical fault, took rural fire brigades more than an hour to bring under control.
